Tuesday- we got home last night at 3 am. We were so tired. Cody did not have a fever so we slept till around 9. Then he spiked a fever so we had to come back. The day turned out to be ok until a little while ago. A blood culture from last night grew positive just as we were about to leave to come home. Cody is so upset and so tired of all this. Casey and Nicole are driving and due to get in around 5 in the morning. The plan is to run antibiotics through the lines now and then again in the morning so we can go home after that. It is so sad we cannot be there for Casey's homecoming. He and Nicole will need to sleep and so we should all be rested. Not the plan for tonight but let's just hope we get home tomorrow.
