Wednesday- What a long day and a tough one. Cody feels like his butt might be getting better. We are doing the sitz baths every bowel movement. Trying to be aggressive. But today his back spasmed again or whatever it does and he cried out in pain so loud that the dogs barked. I felt so bad for him. He cannot walk without assistance. I went to 110 Pharmacy 3x, Rite Aid and Harmon drugs to look for a back brace of some kind. Got the one at 110 but did not get right size and then it was just too uncomfortable. He ate Subway again and did pretty well. He drank a little too today. I had a hard day but then again, I am entitled to it sometime. It is all on me and it is taking its toll. I have to be his 24/7 person and then his nurse. Lots to do with just housework and then add all this. But somehow we do it. We just do. I actually fell asleep on the couch today and did get to sit out back for an hour. The sun felt good. I had a nice talk with my sister in law today, Veronica and she just went thru a nightmare herself but offered all kinds of support for me. I have not called anyone as I am just tired and so consumed in Cody's care. Cody is running a light temp so hoping it is just from the decrease in steroids and not an infection. Not sure if he will spike or if we will have to go in tonight. Please add an extra prayer there too.
