We got a call from the nurse practitioner and discussed the results of Cody's MRI. It looks like he has something called avasular necrosis. It is when the blood does not go to his bones. It is from the steroids. We will get more details when we get the appt with the orthopedist. We are controlling the pain with tylenol.
We went to the race track tonight but it was boring. We left kinda early. Cody had a good time hanging with the guys there. Before Cody went to sleep I said to him "can you believe all we are doing?" He said he always thinks of Tyler when he feels his life is so bad. (Tyler was my student that lost a tough fight to a brain tumor.) He is an amazing young man with a huge heart. He is happy about life and continues to fight on.....I am so proud of him.
