October 13, 2015

Tonight I attended Dowling's alumni night with Corinne.  I got to chat with some of Cody's friends there.  Cody touched so many.  I was not aware I was supposed to speak and was not prepared so thankfully Corinne was with me and she stepped in.  We are trying to get the word out about the foundation.  Thanks so much, Corinne.  That meant a lot to me.  I cannot believe 10 months is this weekend.  So hard….Love and miss you, Cody.

  1. I was told a long time ago that in the beginning grief and loss feel as though you are carrying a very heavy brick with you all the time and that it would get lighter. I decided that I was carrying a cinder block. Here's the thing: it doesn't get any lighter you learn to carry it. This morning while it was still dark I heard footsteps in the bedroom and for one brief second, I thought it was Tyler. I will be haunted by that all day. Thinking of you! XOXO
